Hearing Tests and Consultations
Comprehensive hearing evaluations assess the type, degree and causes of hearing loss. We don't perform free hearing tests. Our goal is to get to the bottom of your hearing loss, not just see if you need hearing aids. We are a diagnostic focused clinic. Most major insurances are accepted.
During your consultation we will explain your results and answer your questions. If you need hearing devices, we'll choose them based on your individual needs from all the major manufacturers. If your hearing loss can be medically treated, we will discuss that with you also. Hearing Aids
Most hearing aids come from six major hearing aid manufacturers. Most of the smaller brands are owned by those companies. We will select the best device for you from the leading manufactuers. We will first choose the style or size of the hearing aid that is best for you, and then we choose which hardware or "computer" to put in it.
A digital hearing aid is a computer. The most advanced are even more powerful than most home computers. With more than sixty digital hearing aids on the market, we make the process of deciding the best hearing aids much easier.
For a more detailed description of the hearing aids available, you can go to any of the manyfacturers listed below, but remember, just because a friend has a particular hearing aid, it may not be what is best for you. Your audiologist is your best and most reliable resource for choosing your device.

Blue Tooth Hearing Aids
There's a lot of buzz going on regarding blue tooth technology and hearing aids. Many of the hearing aid manufacturers are now incorporating technology so that their hearing aids work with blue tooth devices. This is an exciting time in the hearing aid industry, however I caution you not to order a hearing device just because it's called a "Blue Tooth Hearing Aid".
Please call our office regarding up-to-the-minute information on which, if any, of these devices will help you hear and communicate more easily. All the manufactures are jumping on this, and it's hard to tell the fact from the hype.
