  • Co-founder of Mexico's first school for deaf children (Casa del Niño Sordo) Mexican School for the Deaf
  • Founding organizer and sponsor of the Samaritan House Healthfair for Homeless Children (15 years)
  • Implemented one of the nation's first infant hearing screening programs at P/SL Medical Center in Denver, Colorado to identify hearing loss in children.
